'Essa noite eu chorei feito um cachorro' é um filme experimental criado com técnicas de stop-motion aplicadas a imagens do arquivo pessoal do artista, entrelaçadas com stills de filmes e imagens da internet. Cada quadro foi impresso em papel jornal e embebido em água, produzindo texturas únicas que, uma vez digitalizadas e editadas, animam o filme. A água, evocada pelas lágrimas do título, torna-se tanto tema quanto meio, veículo da ilusão de movimento.
Last night I cried like a dog is an experimental film created with stop-motion techniques applied to images from the artist’s personal archive, interwoven with stills from films and the internet. Each frame was printed on newsprint and soaked with water, producing unique textures that, once scanned and edited, animate the film. Water, evoked by the tears in the title, becomes both subject and medium, carrying the illusion of movement.
